The 30-year-old played a great knock of 76 (43) against India during his team’s last Super 8 fixture. However, he couldn’t take his team home, as Australia lost by 24 runs. In contrast, Suryakumar Yadav has been India's third-highest run scorer in the ongoing T20 World Cup, amassing 149 runs from six innings at an average of 29.80 and a strike rate of 139.25. The 33-year-old hit crucial back-to-back half-centuries against the USA (50* off 49) and Afghanistan (53 off 28).
In the all-rounder’s rankings, India’s Hardik Pandya has surged to the third spot thanks to his outstanding form. Pandya has been crucial for India, picking up eight wickets in six innings and scoring 116 runs in four innings, with an impressive average of 58 and a strike rate of 145.
On the other hand, Australia's all-rounder Marcus Stoinis has slipped three places after a brief stint at number one, following stellar performances against Oman (67* off 36, 3/19 in 3 overs) and Scotland (59 off 29). Meanwhile, Sri Lanka's T20I captain Wanindu Hasaranga has reclaimed the top spot after taking six wickets in three innings during the T20 World Cup.
In the bowler rankings, England’s leg-spinner Adil Rashid continues to top the charts. Afghanistan's captain has made a two-position jump to take second place after taking 14 wickets in seven innings in the ongoing T20 World Cup.
