Literally turning the classic air fryer on its head, the Ninja Double Stack XL 9.5L Air Fryer SL400UK allows users to cook as much food as the Foodi MAX Dual Zone Air Fryer but over four levels and using 30 per cent less counter space.

Utilising height instead of width, the clever appliance allows for four layers of cooking when using the removable racks, boasting enough space to cook for up to eight people.

I recently got to see the new product alongside a host of exciting Nina-newness at their EMEA Launch event and would be lying if I said I wasn’t most excited about how compact yet sizeable the stacked fryer was.

Coming in a roomy 9.5L capacity (equal to its respective standard dual zone fryer), the stacked fryer looked as if it would take up less room on my countertop than my toaster while still boasting as much space as the larger models.

The ingenious design came from feedback from users who loved the DUALZONE Technology of the Ninja Foodi Dual Zone Air Fryer but found they didn’t have the counter space to make their purchase worthwhile.

The Double Stack Air Fryer features all the fantastic features of the Foodi Dual Zone but with a smaller footprint, designed to fit perfectly on your counter or in your cupboard without losing any internal capacity.

With removable stacked tray inserts, you’re able to cook on four different levels with two different settings all at the same time

Boasting cooking speeds up to 55 per cent faster than your standard fan oven and featuring six cooking functions for the perfect cook every time, including Air Fry, Max Crisp, Roast and Bake, this handy air fryer will quickly become one of your most used appliances.

Differing from standard air fryers whose heating zones sit beneath the trays, the Double Stack features two independently controlled zones at the rear of the appliance, allowing you to cook with the same or different modes in each section while ensuring even, multi-layered cooking.

Thanks to the clever fryer's removable stacked tray inserts, you’re able to cook four different foods on four different levels at once, too.

Plus, if you’re after succulent chicken and stuffing in one tray and crispy roasties and vegetables in the other but want them to be finished at the same time, you can utilise Sync Cook, another fantastic feature.

This setting intelligently syncs the cooking times in each zone to ensure the food is ready to eat at the same time, perfect if the foods have different cooking times and temperatures but you want to serve them together.

Alternatively, sync settings across both zones for full capacity cooking ready at the perfect time.

Aimed at easy cooking with less oil needed, each included tray boasts a non-stick ceramic coating, helping to ensure no burnt-on food remains and quick cleanup that doesn’t require hours of elbow grease and soaking.

And while the fryer boasts a lot of the same much-loved features as the rest of Ninja’s air fryers, its not just the stacked design that makes it a unique addition to the collection.

Featuring six cooking functions for the perfect cook every time, including Air Fry, Max Crisp, Roast and Bake, this handy air fryer will quickly become one of your most used appliances

Boasting side-mounted controls, it saves space on top of the appliance, ensuring it easily slides beneath or into your cupboards, along with being pretty light, too.

'Absolutely can’t fault my new ninja double stack,' raved one five-star reviewer. 'Good size drawers love the options to set different times & different temperatures yet everything finishes cooking at the same time!'

A second added: 'Bought this three weeks ago and haven't used my main oven since. Cooked seabass, Sunday roasts and the first homemade chips for 30 years.....marvellous..'

'Best purchase ever,' a third wrote. 'Even better than the last one I had which was the double xl. It seems to cook food on the top tier quicker and crispier than ever. Well worth the investment. And it takes up much less room on the surface of your worktops.'
