Caitlin Clark's Teammate Under Fire From Fever Fans After Actions in Storm Loss
After what has been a good month of June for the Indiana Fever, Caitlin Clark and Company suffered a disappointing setback against the Seattle Storm on Thursday night.
Fever fans are especially upset with Clark's teammate Erica Wheeler for trying to take matters into her own hands too often during the game.
After Thursday's 89-77 loss, X user @shamimw_ wrote, "if I have to endure one more game where erica wheeler waives off caitlin, y’all are going to see a generational crash out".
The post already has nearly 50,000 views, and fans are expressing their frustration in the replies.

"Literally get mad whenever [Wheeler] makes a jumper now. You just know it’s getting ugly after that," one fan wrote.
"To be fair, Wheeler has been waving off everybody for a while now," added another.
"She will be on here tonight with some beyond deep post like just pass her the ball damn like intentionally not looking at her at all wide open is wild," said a third.
Clearly Fever fans don't believe it's solely head coach Christie Sides that is part of the problem.
