Also known as the Wheel Pose or the Upward Bow Pose, this asana is great for improving flexibility and balance while engaging the arms, legs, and abdomen with the stretch motion.

Aerial Yoga by Taapsee

Known to mix up her workout with a variation of exercises, Taapsee Pannu recently gave her followers a glimpse into her aerial yoga session with a step-by-step guide as she pulled a perfect headstand and a flawless ninety-degree formation, all while maintaining her balancing and using her core strength to perform the gravity-defying moves.

Yoga girl forever

When it comes to fitness, Jacqueliene Fernandez is an inspiration for many. From performing Suryanamaskars to aerial yoga and also practising Pranayam to improve her breathing, the actress who calls herself a ‘yoga girl’ often shares photos and videos of her performing asanas, encouraging fans to prioritise their health with simple exercises.

Malaika Arora’s social media profile is replete with photos and videos of her performing several yoga routines. From performing yoga asanas against a wall or with the help of a wheel, the actress often shares her tips and tricks with her followers. “It (yoga wheel) allows you to relieve stress and tension from your mind and body. It is a great way to improve flexibility, enhance the range of motion and strengthen the spine,” she wrote in a post.

The Alia yoga asana

Alia Bhatt’s trainer previously shared a photo of the actress acing the Kapotasana or Pigeon Pose with a yoga wheel—a back bend posture that requires a lot of flexibility and practice. Though this wasn’t the first time the actress tried the pose, her trainer revealed that she can now touch her toes with her fingertips in the back bend and also called it the ‘Alia Asana’.
