RBA Governor has got her finger ‘on the button’ to raise rates

Sky News Political Reporter Cameron Reddin says RBA Governor Michele Bullock has got her finger “on the button” to raise rates.

“But they still want to see that big quarterly figure for quarterly inflation which will come out at the end of next month and that will then determine largely what they decide to do in August,” he told Sky News host Peta Credlin.

“It’s such a politically difficult mix for the government because you’ve got this situation with unemployment hovering around four per cent, it’s great that people are in work, but inflation is just not going down.”
