Today on Pinstripe Alley - 6/25/24
The Yankees had Monday off to wipe out the memories of their latest homestand, and today they take the arduous and long journey over to Flushing for the start of their next road trip. The Subway Series is in store, and the Mets have been no slouch this month so they’ll be a tough test for a team that’s reeling a bit currently. If nothing else, the regional rivalry always brings up the meaning of these games a bit even if they don’t directly translate into any tangible results beyond some back-page headlines.
Smith starts off the day with a comprehensive review of the minor league teams’ latest week, and then I’ll be back to hit you with the 1-2 combo of a series preview for the Mets and recap all the relevant AL score from yesterday while the Yankees were off. Jeff’s also got a double-feature today, starting with the 1999 Diary’s latest entry and then delivering our first team-specific entry for our trade deadline coverage going over the potential players the White Sox could offer up this summer.
