List of Samsung phones confirmed to receive Galaxy AI features with OneUI 6.1 update

Samsung’s newly launched Galaxy S24 series of smartphones ship with the latest OneUI 6.1 update with Galaxy AI features, and the company has confirmed that some of these features will trickle down to the older Galaxy S series and the Galaxy Z series of smartphones in the first half of 2024.

According to a report by Android Authority, Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5, and Galaxy Tab S9 series will gain some of the Galaxy AI features via the OneUI 6.1 update, indicating, at least six smartphones and three tablets will gain Galaxy AI features before June 2024.

This indicates that the Galaxy AI will not remain a Galaxy S24 exclusive feature, and at least some of the features will be made available on older Samsung flagships. On the Galaxy S24 series, some features are driven by on-device generative AI capabilities, which might not come to the older phones, while the others, which require make use of cloud computing are likely to be made available on a wide range of Samsung flagship smartphones.

Also, note that the OneUI 6.1 update is also expected to be made available for all the Galaxy smartphones and tablets that are eligible for the OneUI 6 update. However, the entry-level (M series, F series), and the mid-range (A series) might not gain any Galaxy AI features, despite receiving the OneUI 6.1 update.
