Kieran Culkin's wife Jazz Charton claims they didn't get SEATS at 2024 Golden Globes DESPITE Succession win - as she shares hilarious snap 'drinking at the bar'

Kieran Culkin’s wife Jazz Charton claimed the pair didn’t get seats at the 81st Golden Globe Awards on Sunday despite the actor’s Succession win in a humorous Instagram snap.

The Hollywood star, 41 – who notably won the award for Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Series, Drama – could be seen pausing for a photo with Jazz that was uploaded to her stories.

In text added over the image, she jokingly penned, ‘We don’t have seats so we’re just drinking at the bar. IT’S STILL A NIGHT AWAY FROM THE KIDS.’

Charton held a pouting look on her face as Culkin stood next to her by a bar while sipping on tasty martinis inside the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

It is unclear how long the couple had no seats since the lovebirds were later spotted relaxing at a table during the ceremony along with other celebrity guests.

Shortly before entering the crowded venue, both Kieran and Jazz walked the red carpet together.

The actor dressed to impress wearing a classic black suit which he paired with a textured dress shirt as well as sleek, black dress shoes.

His wife also color-coordinated with Kieran sporting a black gown that contained a lace overlay for an elegant flare.

The ensemble was held up with thin straps that wrapped around her shoulders, and contained a hem that brushed the ground.

Her dark locks were swept up into a chic up do, allowing wavy strands to border the sides of her face.

The couple tied the knot in 2013 during a road trip in Iowa and share two children: daughter Kinsey, four, and son Wilder, two.

The Golden Globes was a big night for HBO’s Succession and notably won four of its nine nominations during the special evening.

The series – which aired its fourth and final season last year in May – garnered the award for Best Television Series – Drama, as well as Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Series – Drama for Sarah Snook.

Matthew Macfadyen notably was the recipient of Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role in a Television Series – Drama and Kieran won Best Performance by a Male Actor for his role as Roman Roy.

Before taking to the stage to accept his award, Kieran shared a sweet kiss with his wife, Jazz, as the actor was surrounded by cheering and applause.

‘Oh, nightmare! Ugh! Sit down! Boy, thank you,’ he humorously began while standing in front of a microphone, and then joked about having indigestion.

‘Otherwise, this is a nice moment for me. I’ve blown it already, Jazz,’ Culkin continued. ‘You said “Just say thanks and leave.” You were right.’

He then recalled, ‘I was nominated for a Golden Globe like 20 years ago, and when that moment passed, I still remember thinking, “I’m never going to be back in this room again.” Which is fine, whatever.’

‘But thanks to Succession, I’ve been in here a couple times. It’s nice, but I sort of, accepted I would never be on the stage, so this is a nice moment. Suck it Pedro [Pascal],’ he added, referencing to his fellow nominee. ‘Mine!’

The audience erupted into laughter and Kieran continued by sending his gratitude to the cast and crew of the show.

‘Everybody that showed up, that believed in this thing and that was very cool.’ He then held up his award slightly and stated, ‘This isn’t mine, this is one for the team.’

‘But thanks to Succession, I’ve been in here a couple times. It’s nice, but I sort of, accepted I would never be on the stage, so this is a nice moment. Suck it Pedro [Pascal],’ he added, referencing to his fellow nominee. ‘Mine!’

To conclude his speech, Culkin gave a special shout out to his manager, wife Jazz, and also his mother.

While talking to Taika Waititi for Interview Magazine last year in April, Kieran reflected on the final season of Succession.

‘I knew this wasn’t the kind of show that could keep going and going. I always thought five seasons. It was just a number I had in my head.’

‘I remember, towards the end of season three, going, “I’m worried we’re going to enter a territory where we’re becoming Succession-y,’ the actor added. However, creator Jesse Armstrong had revealed season four would be the last for the series.
