Severe thunderstorm warnings for the Far North have finally been cancelled but minor, moderate and major flood warnings remain.
A second attempt to evacuate the flood-stricken community of Wujal Wujal will be made this morning after heavy rain scuppered efforts yesterday, as other parts of Far North Queensland begin to assess just how much damage has been caused.
