Emmerdale spoilers see Mack gobsmacked as he discovers gender of Chloe's baby

Emmerdale looks set for explosive scenes next week when Mackenzie “Mack” Boyd discovers the gender of pregnant Chloe Harris’ baby after their one-night stand last year.

Viewers will recall that Mackenzie had a drunken night of passion with Chloe last year after an argument with partner Charity Dingle after she tragically lost their baby.

And things went from bad to worse for Mackenzie, who told Chloe to leave him alone as he loves Charity and that their one-night stand was a mistake, as Chloe later revealed that she is pregnant with his baby.

So far, Charity is unaware Mackenzie cheated and is the father of Chloe’s baby, even inviting Chloe to stay with them after she collapsed and was rushed to hospital.

In upcoming episodes, Nate Robinson gets a hunch Mackenzie cares more for Chloe and the baby than he is admitting to and before long Mackenzie wonders if he’s got a point.

Later, Mackenzie bumps into Chloe and he’s gobsmacked to learn Chloe is having a boy and there’s a charged moment between the two as Mackenzie feels his baby son starting to kick.

The next day, Mackenzie is struggling more than he’s letting on and soon he gets into an argument with Chloe over his involvement in the baby’s life.

While Nate is left unconvinced by Mack’s denial over being involved and Mack is left feeling guilty knowing he’s deceiving Charity.

In upcoming scenes, Mackenzie and Chloe’s secret baby bombshell is set to be exposed with Charity’s aftermath teased.

Teasing the storyline on Lorraine and why Charity hasn’t been told so far, Mack star Lawrence Robb said: “He’s been stuck in that dilemma for quite some time and there’s always been things that have prevented him from doing so.”

He added: “I think he’s juggling all of that all the while keeping his huge big secret under wraps. It will come to a point where it all explodes. It always does.”
