Actor Jaideep Ahlawat's weight loss journey for 'Maharaj': From 109.7 kg to 83 kg
Actor Jaideep Ahlawat revealed that he lost 26 kg in 5 months, sharing a glimpse of his fitness journey. He posted before-and-after pictures, explaining that the physical transformation was for his role in the latest series 'Maharaj'.
'Maharaj' marked Aamir Khan's son Junaid's debut is currently streaming on Netflix. Jaideep who is receiving love for his role, shared a few pictures while giving a glimpse of his massive physical transformation.
Along with the pictures, he wrote, "From 109.7 Kg. to 83 Kg. in 5 months. That's the Physical Transformation for the Role of Maharaj. Thank you Prajwal Sir for believing in me @prajwal7542 (sic)."

Impressed by his physical transformation, director Siddharth Malhotra also commented on the post. He wrote, "Bhai the dedication and devotion you have put and given to this role and character can't be put in words! Always indebted to you."
Justice Sangeeta K. Vishen, who had initially barred the film's release on June 13, permitted Netflix to stream it after watching the movie. 'Maharaj' features Aamir Khan's son, Junaid, along with Jaideep Ahlawat and Sharvari Wagh in key roles.
Originally scheduled for release on June 14, 'Maharaj' was put on hold when the High Court barred Netflix from streaming it. This decision came after a group of businessmen petitioned the court, arguing that the film had the potential to offend the religious sensibilities of the Vaishnav community.
