Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. Dividend: The shares of Indian Oil Corporation Ltd are going to trade ex-dividend soon following the announcement of final dividend for FY24. The company's board of directors recommended a final dividend of 70 per cent for 2023-24.
Indian Oil dividend 2024
In its Q4 results, Indian Oil announced that it will pay a 70% dividend to shareholders on each stock with a face value of Rs 10. The 70% dividend distribution equals to Rs 7.

"The Board has recommended a final dividend of 70 per cent for the year 2023-24 i.e. Rs 7 per equity share of face value of Rs 10 each on the paid-up share capital," Indian Oil said in an exchange filing.
Indian Oil (IOC) Dividend 2024 Record Date
The Board of Directors of IOC at its meeting on May 30 fixed the record date as July 12, 2024 to determine the eligibility of the shareholders who would be entitled to receive the dividend payment.

"Friday, July 12, 2024, as the Record Date for the purpose of determining eligibility of members to receive final dividend for the year ended March 31, 2024," the company said in an exchange filing.
Indian Oil (IOC) Dividend history
The company has consistently paid dividends to its investors since 2007. In 2021, Indian Oil paid dividends to its investors four times: Rs 5 in November, Rs 1.50 in August, Rs 3 in March, and Rs 7.50 in February.
In 2022, IOC paid dividends to its shareholders twice: Rs 2.40 per equity share in August and Rs 4 per equity share in February. Meanwhile, in the same year, Indian Oil issued bonus shares at a ratio of 1:2.
