Rajkumar Hirani DENIES Casting Shah Rukh Khan And Samantha Ruth Prabhu In A Film, Calls It Baseless

On Saturday, rumours started that Shah Rukh Khan and Rajkumar Hirani are planning an action-adventure-patriotic film together. Fans are excited, especially with SRK’s recent successes. Adding Samantha Prabhu to the mix had made everyone even more excited, imagining a huge hit in both Southern and Northern markets.

And now, sources close to Rajkumar Hirani strongly deny the rumours, stating that Raju Sir is currently busy writing his next film. There have been no discussions with SRK or Samantha regarding any project. The source laughs off the idea of Shah Rukh Khan and Samantha collaborating for an untitled action-adventure patriotic movie as completely baseless and untrue.

According to Koimoi, Rajkumar Hirani had high hopes for Dunki to be a major box office hit. Although it did well and earned 232 crores, it didn’t meet huge expectations. Rajkumar Hirani is still reflecting on Dunki’s performance and is taking time to decide on his next project. While working with Shah Rukh Khan is appealing, Hirani is searching for the perfect story. Nothing has been finalised yet.

On the professional front, SRK’s next film is King, starring alongside his daughter Suhana Khan. Directed by Sujoy Ghosh, not much is known about the project, but a viral look of SRK in a new avatar has created excitement. While Suhana debuted with The Archies, King will be her first big-screen film. SRK also has Tiger vs Pathaan and a Pathaan sequel coming up.
