Jio silently removes annual JioCinema Premium plan — check existing plans, prices, other details

JioCinema website currently lists only monthly and family premium plans.

In an unexpected turn of events, Jio has silently removed the annual JioCinema Premium plan from its official website, barely a few days after lowering the price making it more affordable for users. The JioCinema Premium annual plan was relaunched in India recently at a price of Rs 299. The plan was previously available for Rs 999. But you can no longer buy it, since the plan is no longer listed on Jio’s website.

The JioCinema website currently lists two plans—the Rs 29 Premium monthly and Rs 89 family. The annual JioCinema Premium plan is no longer available.

Post the recent price revision, the cost of JioCinema premium plan has come down to Re 1 per day. The monthly plan is now priced at Rs 29, down from the previous Rs 99. The revamped JioCinema Premium monthly plan is advertised as a 51 percent discount, with the previous price quoted at Rs 59 on Jio’s website. Despite the discrepancy, the new pricing offers substantial savings and additional benefits over rivals like Netflix and Amazon Prime Video.
