SANTA ROSA CITY — The Special Action Force conducted the closing ceremony of SAF Commando Course (SAFCC) Class 123-2023 "SULTANS," with Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano as the guest of honor and speaker, at SAF Headquarters in Fort Santo Domingo, Santa Rosa City, Laguna.
The event featured a series of ceremonial activities, including the presentation of awards to the top performers of the course, the donning of the SAF Black Beret, the distribution of the Commando Badge and the ceremonial toast.
These activities symbolized the graduates' successful completion of the rigorous training and their readiness to join the ranks as "Full Blooded SAF Troopers."
The SAFCC CL 123-2023 "SULTANS" is composed of 161 students who have completed 12 months of rigorous training.
Senator Cayetano has been awarded with honorary membership of the class in recognition of his unwavering support and commitment to the welfare and development of the Special Action Force.
In his message, Cayetano emphasized the importance of unity and a shared vision in achieving meaningful change.
"Kung gusto natin ng pagbabago, kailangan lahat ng sektor (If we want change, it must involve all sectors). This is what will help the PNP and help the SAF. Pero kung hindi iisa ang vision natin bilang Pilipino, kung hindi natin mamahalin ang batas, wala ring mangyayari sa atin (But if our vision is not one as Filipinos, if we don't follow the law, no change will ever happen)," said Cayetano.
Cayetano expressed heartfelt appreciation for being an honorary member of Class 123-2023 and the SAF as a whole, and allowing him to take the oath of SAF Black Beret Creed with the graduates.
The event highlighted the SAF's ongoing commitment to developing highly skilled personnel dedicated to protecting the nation and its citizens.
