PM calls out Opposition’s ‘scare campaigns’ on renewables
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has called out the Opposition for running “scare campaigns” about a “solar panel scaring people”.
Opposition leader Peter Dutton announced the Coalition’s nuclear plan at a media event on Wednesday.
“This mob think they can just get through by running … scare campaigns worried about a solar panel scaring people,” Mr Albanese told Sky News Australia.
“Six of the seven sites have said they don’t want a bar of this.
“In Port Augusta, the site that they have so-called identified – this is how hopeless they’ve been – has already been taken up with other activity that is creating jobs.”
