Australia must embrace 'nuclear option' as no other country relies 'solely' on renewables
Liberal MP for Flynn Colin Boyce supports the Liberal’s nuclear push, saying Australia must have the “nuclear option”.
Opposition Leader Peter Dutton revealed the Coalition’s nuclear policy in a media conference on Wednesday, including the seven proposed locations for the nuclear power plants.
Australia must embrace 'nuclear option' as no other country relies 'solely' on renewables
“I am very supportive of it,” Mr Boyce told Sky News Australia.
“We’ve got to have the nuclear option – there is not one country in the world that relies solely on renewable energy.
“All of these countries, the G20 countries with the exception of Australia have nuclear energy in their mix.”
