Former Speaker of the House Bronwyn Bishop says the Coalition’s plan for nuclear only takes up a “small” amount of land.
Opposition Leader Peter Dutton revealed his nuclear policy in a media conference on Wednesday.
“The beauty about the proposition that Mr Dutton has put up is that the actual amount of land taken to deliver this cheaper energy is very small,” Ms Bishop told Sky News host Paul Murray.

“It’s the existing site of coal-fired power stations and the existing water for cooling and the existing grid – poles and wires – continue to be used.”
