Incoming Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca has been handed an immediate reunion with his former boss Pep Guardiola, with the Blues set to face title-holding Manchester City in their first match of the season.
After a comparatively straightforward run of fixtures following the baptism of fire, Chelsea must then navigate a testing October and November, clashing with a number of Big Six opponents hand-in-hand with a potential Europa Conference League run.
The west London side will then attempt to get themselves in pole position for a top-four spot at the end of the season by overcoming tricky opponents including Liverpool and Manchester United - before ending their campaign on the road against Nottingham Forest.

The Blues will want to keep a cool head in their first test before a lighter run of fixtures
