‘Jesus Christ!’: Gold Coast woman wins $21m lottery
A Gold Coast woman has won $21m in Monday night’s lottery draw.
“This is crazy! Jesus Christ!,” was her reaction, according to The Lott.
The woman is from the Gold Coast suburb of Nerang. The Lott operates various daily lottery draws across the country.
She won $21.16m in the Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot, a raffle-style game.

A statement issued by The Lott recounts the good news being delivered.
“Is this a joke? Oh my god!” the woman said.
“Are you serious? This is crazy! Jesus Christ!
“I’ve always thought, ‘maybe one day it would be my turn’ but nothing prepares you for this. This is completely life-changing.”
The winner said she had been planning to leave her job, but might just quit tomorrow and never work again.
The money would go toward buying a house as well, she said.
