The latest chapter in the drama between wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk and the San Francisco 49ers took place on TikTok, where Aiyuk claimed the team does not want him back.
While on a FaceTime call with college teammate and Washington Commanders quarterback, Aiyuk knew he was being recorded by his girlfriend, Rochelle Searight.
Then Aiyuk dropped the news to Daniels about the 49ers allegedly informing him they did not want the wide receiver back in San Francisco.
Daniels did not believe Aiyuk at first, prompting the current 49er to say 'I swear!'
Aiyuk had his best season in the NFL in 2023 with 75 catches for 1,342 yards and seven touchdowns. And Aiyuk wants to be paid like a team's top receiver.

'They don't want me back,' Aiyuk admitted to Daniels.
Could the No 2 NFL Draft pick and Aiyuk reunite for the first time since Arizona State?
The Commanders have a pretty decent wide-receiving corps led by Terry McLaurin. Adding Aiyuk to the crew would elevate them to one of the best pass-catching groups in the NFL.
Aiyuk is entering the final season of his rookie contract with the 49ers, after they picked up his fifth-year option.
It is believed Aiyuk is basing his side of contract talks on the deal Amon-Ra St. Brown signed with the Lions earlier this year.
St. Brown inked a four-year, $120.01million extension with over $35million guaranteed and a $16.5million signing bonus.
Aiyuk is slated to earn a little more than $14million this season.
