Clever Elder Scrolls Fan Turns Their Game Room Into a Skyrim Destination With Cute Decoration

  • Skyrim remains a popular game, with over 60 million units sold since its release in 2011, inspiring fans to showcase their love for it.
  • Creative players have recreated Skyrim elements in real life, from quest markers on doors to feasts with iconic game-themed food.
  • From detailed terrazzo quest markers to real-life Ebony Daggers, fans continue to impress with their dedication to the Elder Scrolls game.

A creative Elder Scrolls player has recently made a Skyrim quest marker and put it on their game room door. Skyrim is one of the most popular games of all time, and fans of Bethesda’s open-world game often showcase their love for the series on social media.

It’s no secret that Skyrim is one of the most successful games ever. First released in 2011, the game received several ports and special editions, selling over 60 million units over the years. Because of this, Skyrim has countless fans, and many of them have created interesting objects inspired by the game.

Hilarious Skyrim Glitch Makes Part of Solitude Completely Disappear

A Skyrim player online discovers a hilarious glitch in the game, which causes part of the city of Solitude to disappear into thin air.

Now, a gamer called FloraBosmer has shared a picture of their game room’s door on r/Skyrim, which was turned into a Skyrim location by their boyfriend, who devised and printed a quest marker, putting it on the door. According to FloraBosmer, their boyfriend made this a surprise, which they loved, and now plan to put it on other doors in the house. Unfortunately, there are no pictures of the inside of the game room in the post, but the story was very well received by the Skyrim community, reaching over 3,500 upvotes.

Skyrim Player's Customized Game Room Door

This is not the first time a crafty gamer recreated the Skyrim quest market icon in real life. Last year, another gamer made Skyrim quest markers out of terrazzo, and they looked pretty good. The piece was extremely detailed, and it was praised by other fans.

Other gamers, however, can go even a step further when recreating items or ideas from Bethesda’s classic title. For instance, a player recently recreated a Skyrim feast in their home. This Elder Scrolls fan made a huge feast, including some iconic Skyrim-themed food such as Baked Potatoes, Juniper Berry Crostatas, Salmon Steaks, Eidar Cheese, and Grilled Leeks. The most amazing aspect of this creation is how the items actually resembled the ones from the game.

While many gamers love to create cute or tasty Skyrim items, others prefer to recreate weapons. One example of this could be seen last year when another Skyrim fan created a real-life Ebony Dagger that had an uncanny resemblance to the one in the game, having several carvings and looking pretty sharp. According to its creator, the dagger was not made of ebony, but of high carbon leaf spring steel and then carefully crafted to emulate the one from Bethesda’s game.
