WNBA Rookie Cameron Brink Announces Major News
Cameron Brink has emerged as one of the most promising rookies in the 2024 WNBA draft class. Alongside Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese, she has elevated the WNBA to unprecedented levels.
Drafted with the No. 2 pick by the Los Angeles Sparks, Brink has already demonstrated her versatility on the court, especially on the defensive side of the ball. Brink is averaging 8.1 points and 5.7 rebounds in 23.3 minutes per game. She is also recording 2.5 blocks a game, tied for second in the WNBA with former MVP A'ja Wilson.
Unfortunately, the Sparks are near the bottom of the WNBA standings, but that shouldn't diminish Brink's impact.

On Monday, Brink announced some major news regarding her time with the Stanford Cardinal. She revealed that she has been selected as a Tom Hansen Medal Winner. This award goes to each Pac-12 school's most outstanding male and female student-athletes.
The official Stanford athletics social media account posted the news online and Brink reposted it to her story.
Brink spent four years at Stanford and won a NCAA Women's Basketball National Championship in 2021. She was also named the Pac-12 Player of the Year twice in her college career.
