Nina Warhurst shared a career update away from BBC Breakfast. The 43-year-old has been a presenter on BBC Breakfast since 2018, but has worked for the broadcaster for over a decade.
On Monday (June 17), Nina took to Instagram to announce that she presented her first ever BBC News at One show. The mum-of-three shared a snap featuring two of her work colleagues, who also hit their own career milestones.
Nina began: "The BBC's One o'clock news has been a part of my life FOREVER. Breaking up the day in school holidays (well it *was* on before Neighbours), watching every day at University ('studying' politics away from the lecture hall), on maternity leave, at home after an early shift .... It's been one of those mental markers that punctuate the day for as long as I can remember."
Nina continued: "I remember the first time my regional news report made it on to, 'The One,' and the first time I joined the programme presenting the regional bulletin... it felt part of something big and special."

The newsreader added: "Today I presented it for the first time, it was Tracey's first time on cameras, and Jack's first week managing the studio floor... We are all very proud that this institution has come to Salford (the faces say it all!) and very grateful to our London colleagues for nurturing a brilliant programme and sharing it with us."
She signed off the post: "We promise to look after it xxx." Nina was flooded with support from fans who took to the comments to praise the presenter for the job she did.
One wrote: "I really enjoyed seeing you doing the 1 o'clock news, my first thought was 'oh, I do hope they put TV on for your dad'." Another penned: "Amazing! Well done to you and all involved."

"Brilliant, you did an excellent job," agreed a third social media user. Another posted: "I saw it - excellently executed everyone!" Someone else shared: "It was so lovely to see you on 1 oclock news . You were great. Well done to the whole team."
Meanwhile a fifth echoed: "Congratulations and well done today. I watched it and you were fab!"
Nina recently paid tribute to Michael Mosley, who was found dead on June 9 after going missing on the Greek island of Symi.
She shared a photo of herself and Michael, taken when the doctor appeared as a guest on BBC Breakfast. Nina wrote: "Don't often ask for snaps with guests, but he changed my life. Intermittent fasting so I can enjoy my treats... using my brain in different ways because of a family history of dementia.
The TV star added: "Always in awe of his capacity as a broadcaster to make complex theories accessible to all."
