Ukrainian defense forces repelled 13 enemy attacks in the Kharkiv direction over the past day. A total of 148 battle encounters have occurred on the front since the beginning of the day, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The military command updated operational information as of 23:00 on May 13.

Enemy attack

Overall, the enemy delivered 6 missile strikes, 30 aviation strikes using 40 KABs, nearly 300 kamikaze drone strikes, and conducted over 2,500 shelling attacks on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Frontline situation

In northern Ukraine, in the Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the situation has not undergone significant changes, and there have been no changes in the state or positions of the troops.

In the Kharkiv direction, Ukrainian forces repelled 13 enemy attacks in the areas of Novaya Tavolzhanka (Russia) - Vovchansk, Shebekino (Russia) - Vovchansk, Hatyshche - Vovchansk, Murom - Starytsia, Striletcha - Hlyboke, Pylna - Hlyboke, Hlyboke - Lyptsi.

Ukrainian defenders are conducting a sweep of the urban area in the settlement of Vovchansk. Combat actions continue, and the situation is under control.

Enemy losses here amount to 164 personnel and 25 pieces of equipment.

In the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian forces repelled 22 enemy attacks in the areas of Lyman Pershyi - Synkivka, Vilshanka - Synkivka, Krokhmalne - Berestove, Kolomyichykha - Stelmakhivka, Kovalivka - Novoyehorivka, Ploshchanka - Makiivka. No losses of positions were allowed during the fighting, and the situation is under control. Tactical positions of the Ukrainian forces have improved in some areas.

Fighting for individual positions continues in the areas of Kovalivka - Novoyehorivka and Kyslivka - Ivanivka.

In the Lyman direction, the Defense Forces repelled 1 enemy attack in the direction of Chervonopopivka - Ivanivka and improved tactical positions in some areas.

In the Siversk direction, Ukrainian units repelled 15 enemy attacks in the areas of Lysychansk - Bilohorivka, Novodruzhesk - Bilohorivka, Vesele - Verkhniokamianske, Zolotarivka - Verkhniokamianske, Vesele - Rozdolivka, Mykolaivka - Spirne. The enemy was unsuccessful, and no positions were lost.

In the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian warriors repelled 35 enemy attacks in the areas of Bakhmut - Ivanivske, Bakhmut - Klishchiivka, Odradivka - Klishchiivka.

No positions were lost, tactical positions were improved in some areas. In some areas, due to the enemy's intensive fire impact, positions were changed to preserve the lives of our defenders, and measures to regroup units were planned.

In the Pokrovsk direction, the Defense Forces repelled 33 enemy attacks in the areas of Ocheretyne - Novooleksandrivka, Ocheretyne - Yevhenivka, Ocheretyne - Kalynove, Arkhangelske - Novooleksandrivka.

"To preserve the lives of our defenders, positions of the Defense Forces were changed in some areas due to the intensive fire impact of the enemy," the General Staff reported.

In the directions of Soloviove - Sokil, Ocheretyne - Soloviove, Ocheretyne - Yevhenivka, Semenivka - Novoselivka Persha, Semenivka - Umanske, Pisky - Netailove, no positions were lost, and the situation is under control.In some areas within the direction, tactical positions have been improved by the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In the Kurakhivka direction, the Defense Forces repelled 13 enemy attacks in the areas of Staromykhailivka - Krasnohorivka, Slavne - Novomykhailivka. Our units are holding the defense, and no positions were lost.

In the Vremivske direction, the Ukrainian forces repelled 11 enemy attacks in the areas of Solodke - Vodiane, Zavitne Bazhannia - Staromayorske, Volodyne - Staromayorske. Despite the enemy's pressure, no positions were lost.

In the Prydniprovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 4 enemy attacks in the area of Oleshkivski Pisky - Krynky.

There have been no significant changes in the situation on other directions.

Enemy losses

During the current day, the Russian army lost over 800 personnel.

Ukrainian defenders eliminated and destroyed 9 tanks and 28 enemy armored vehicles, as well as shot down 212 enemy drones.

Attempted Russian advance in the Kharkiv region

The Russian army has been making continuous attempts to advance in the northern part of the Kharkiv region for several days, with active combat operations ongoing. In particular, the enemy is trying to advance towards Vovchansk near the border.

Earlier on May 13, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the Russian army continues its offensive attempts in the Kharkiv region, consolidating its positions and setting up reserve positions.
