Olly Murs and Mark Wright tease Euros song as fans say same thing
Fans were left asking the same thing after Olly Murs and Mark Wright took a road trip to Germany for England's first match at the Euros 2024.
While many football fans tuned into England's opening match against Serbia, marked by the team's victory (1-0) with a headshot from Jude Bellingham during the first thirteen minutes, the duo journeyed to the Arena AufSchalke in Gelsenkirchen this Sunday, June 16, 2024.
Instagram users were given an insight into Mark and Olly's trip, which began in the former footballer's Essex mansion and was followed by tensions as he later grew increasingly desperate to find enough food for the rest of the long journey.
Spirits were raised after fears of taking the wrong route threatened the rest of the trip and the pair were able to enjoy a pint before the game and singer Olly revealed a song they'd come up with for the Euros.

The pair went to see England's opening game against Serbia
Olly, who missed his first Father's Day with new daughter Maddison for the trip said: "Wrighty had a great idea on the way here - we need an England song. I said let’s do it OK, and he said no, it has to be to one of your songs."
"So he put a remix together and you know what, it’s pretty good." This prompted Mark to add: "A Heart Skips a Beat - remixed - ready for this summer, for you and the fans, at home and in the stadiums! Are you ready?", a reference to Olly's 2011 hit.
The pair then sang: "So Saka spin me around cos football’s gonna come home, and when you cross it to Kane, you make my heart skip, skip a beat. I know I should but I can’t leave it alone, cos when England play they make my heart skip, skip a beat", before challenging their fans to bring their own versions to the table.
But by introducing their personal anthem for the Euros 2024, Olly and Mark have left the door open for ideas to blossom as fans demanded they hosted their own show together.
"You two are bonkers. You need your own show", one of them penned on Instagram. Another echoed: "You two definitely need your own show!"
A third fan chipped in: "You guys need to do a TV show together your stories on here today have been hilarious! Enjoy the football", while a fourth replied: "You two need to do a show together. The stories today have been so funny.. Can't wait for the next instalment."
"You two need your own show...road trips with food and activities", another suggested while a final added: "I think we deffo need a Wrighty/Mursy roadtrip series - you’d both be brilliant."
In most recent news, Mark Wright's grandfather was rushed to hospital, leading him to beg the 91-year-old to "stay strong" on Father's Day. Mark Wright Snr took to Instagram himself while his son was away, penning: "Happy Father's Day to the best - unfortunately in hospital at the moment after a fall a couple of days ago, but dad I'm on my way up to see you now."
