Aussie shoppers are praising an 'anti-spy' iPhone screen protector from Kmart for its affordable price tag and innovative design.

The $8 product received raving reviews on social media because it blocks peering eyes from viewing the screen on the side. It also protects against scratches and dust.

One customer boasted about the buy on Facebook and highly recommended it to others.

'So I got a new iPhone [and] wanted to get a privacy screen protector for my phone,' the shopper wrote.

'I went to serval phone places and they were charging $45 plus to get one put on, I just went to Kmart and find them for $8 and you have all the stuff you need to put it on yourself! FYI! For anyone looking at doing it.'

Others thanked the customer for sharing their honest review, and a few weren't aware Kmart sold the product.

'At $8 a pop it's worth it. I've bought the expensive ones and they crack the same as the Kmart ones. I'm not resentful of spending another $8 for a replacement,' one wrote.

'I got mine from Kmart before all the price rises for $5. Works a treat and I've accidentally dropped my phone a few times and no cracks - win!' another said.

'Even better on Amazon. You can get a 3 pack for about $12,' a third wrote.

Others refused to spent more than $20 on a glass screen protector.

But one woman claimed she's noticed a difference between Kmart screen protectors and alternatives.

It comes after the department store relaunched its wildly popular heated blanket in stores, just in time for winter.

The Sherpa Heated Throw has been described as 'elite' by customers who have already got their hands on the affordable buy that acts as a cheaper alternative to regular heaters.

Priced at just $39, the throw quietly returned to shelves and shoppers boasted about their buy on social media.

Sophie, from Sydney, quickly bought the throw last week and dubbed it the 'best money she's ever spent'.

'Honestly, get yourself to Kmart and get yourself one of these heated sherpa throws. I'm so cosy,' she said in a TikTok while wrapped in the blanket.
