In a dramatic final day of the US Open at Pinehurst, North Carolina, it was Bryson De Chambeau who claimed the title, denying Rory McIlroy an elusive fifth Major.

It was nip and tuck all day with DeChambeau eventually finishing one shot clear of McIlroy on six-under.
