Kicking off the Haute Couture season in Paris yesterday, Dior's autumn/winter 2024-25 show was as glamorous as ever – from its location in the Musée Rodin gardens and walls lined with Faith Ringgold installations, to the classical statuary-inspired goddess gowns Maria Grazia Chiuri sent down the runway. And, naturally, there was an equally impressive cohort of celebrities there to soak it all up, including the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Doja Cat and Venus Williams.
But ever a brand with its eye on the future, Dior also invited one of the hottest up-and-coming models of the moment: Deva Cassel. The 19-year-old daughter of Hollywood icons Monica Bellucci and Vincent Cassel took her place among fellow fashion royalty on the Dior front row – but not before taking a moment to catch up exclusively with ELLE UK to discuss her chosen outfit, ongoing penchant for hair experimentation and the best piece of advice her mum has given her.

On her look for the occasion...
'I chose to wear a blue shirt and skirt with printed golden details, paired with some nice summery shoes with a platform in a material that matches my bag. We had fun with the hair: I think these two braids give a good movement to the rest of the 'fit, and the jewellery is a great touch of light.'
On the inspiration behind it...
'I felt like going for something colourful since it’s summer, and I just felt like this outfit was a perfect look for such hot weather. Trying to keep it fresh and chic is a must when attending a Dior show.'

'Simple things go a long way. I go by that.'
On experimenting with her hair...
'I would love to cut my hair very short one day, kind of like a bob length but with funkier texture. I feel like it can really freshen up a look that you’ve had for a while, and it looks really nice in my opinion.'

On her event dressing style tips...
'I think the moment you finish getting ready and put your outfit on before going out is amazing: you feel great, you look great and overall, you know you are going to have a great time. If I had to give a tip it would be to always wear something that makes you feel comfortable and confident at the same time and to not overthink things. Things will happen the way they should, no matter the event you are attending. I feel so grateful to be a part of these projects every time and it fills me with joy. A good mood will always make you have a good time.'
