Netflix planning second series of Brit version of Selling Sunset despite huge ratings flop
Netflix's 'Buying London' is set for a potential second series despite its initial lackluster performance.
The show, which followed the high-profile estate agents at DDRE London selling luxury properties in Mayfair and the British countryside, aimed to replicate the success of its American counterpart, 'Selling Sunset.'
However, the seven-episode series failed to captivate viewers and received poor critical reviews.
Despite this, Netflix remains optimistic about the show's potential and is in discussions to continue following Daniel Daggers' team.
A source told The Sun: 'Buying London has all the elements for success: luxurious properties, internal conflicts, romance, drama, and a touch of celebrity.'

'While it made Netflix's UK top ten twice, it didn't achieve widespread ratings success.
'Nevertheless, it's relatively inexpensive to produce, and executives believe it's worth another attempt.'
The series featured Daniel Daggers, known as 'Mr. Super Prime,' along with glamorous former Sky Sports presenter Olivia Wayne and breakout star Lauren Christy.
In 2019, Daniel managed to sell one of London's most expensive properties 3 Carlton Gardens to American billionaire Ken Griffin for £95million - although it had been on for £125million two years before.
The 44-year-old property mogul claimed he wanted to 'revolutionise the real estate industry'.
Reflecting on her intense work-life balance, Lauren revealed her top tip to stay healthy, happy, and predictably with these people: driven.
She said: 'I am one of the best agents here. Agency life is full of ups and downs. Dealing with the tough times for me starts with health so I prioritise some sort of physical activity every day.
'Not everything will go your way, so let go of the things you can't control and harness the things you can.'
