Fever Teammate Hilariously Blames Caitlin Clark After Win Vs. Sky
Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever walked out with a 91-83 win over the Chicago Sky on Father's Day. It was the Angel Reese-Caitlin Clark battle once again, and it escalated with Reese being called for a flagrant foul on Clark.
After the game, Kelsey Mitchell, who scored 17 points on 7-of-13 shooting, hilariously placed blame on Clark for the Fever playing in soldout arenas everywhere they go (h/t James Boyd of The Athletic).
When Mitchell was asked about the Fever constantly playing in front of large crowds, she issued a perfect response: “I blame Caitlin.”
The Fever had a soldout crowd on hand once again, and this marked the 7th straight home game with more than 15,000 fans in attendance.
The sheer volume of popularity for the Fever has gone through the roof with Clark coming on board, and here are some other stats that show how much things have changed for Indiana.

On Sunday, the rookie had arguably the best game of her young WNBA career. She finished with a game-high 23 points, nine assists, eight rebounds, and a pair of blocks in the victory, including some vintage Clark three-pointers that we saw plenty of during her Iowa days.
Wherever the Fever play, plenty of fans will be trying to get a glimpse of Caitlin Clark. That's just the way it goes.
