Diljit Dosanjh says Shah Rukh Khan has ‘gotten as much as he can endure’: ‘Life tests you at every level…’
Diljit Dosanjh, who is making India proud overseas and will soon feature on Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show, recently spoke about Shah Rukh Khan and how he draws inspiration from the actor's immense global popularity. The singer-actor praised the superstar's good nature and shared how people around the world identify Indians with Shah Rukh Khan.
Speaking on Raj Shamani's podcast, Diljit said, "He is a good human, and that is the most important thing. How much can you endure and control in any given situation? In this game, you will get only as much as you deserve. You will be put in a situation, and how much you can endure in that situation will determine how much you will get out of it."
Talking about how people all over the world identify India and Indians with Shah Rukh Khan, he added, "Life tests you at every level. He is a really good human and he deserves to be Shah Rukh Khan. When you go abroad and tell people you are from India, they quickly say Shah Rukh Khan. This is a big deal. Shah Rukh Khan is a very big name, and I often judge myself on that. He is a great artist, he works really hard, and he has gotten as much as he can endure."
Diljit Dosanjh was last seen in Imtiaz Ali's Amar Singh Chamkila and is awaiting the release of his Punjabi film Jatt & Juliet 3. He is also part of Boney Kapoor's No Entry 2, along with Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor.
