Emma Raducanu has rejected the chance to represent Team GB at this summer's Olympics in Paris, but two-time gold medallist Andy Murray is set to compete at his fifth and final Games.

It was confirmed at Queen’s Club on Sunday, in a press conference with the LTA’s Iain Bates, that Murray has been invited to play in the singles along with Jack Draper, Dan Evans and Cameron Norrie.

Murray and Evans could also team up in the doubles alongside Joe Salisbury and Neal Skupski, while Katie Boulter will play in the women's singles.

But after pulling out of French Open qualifying last month, Raducanu is set to skip Paris for a second time, despite being eligible for an Olympics call-up as a former Grand Slam champion.

‘I think she feels this isn’t going to be the right timing for her for this summer,’ said Bates, the head of Team GB's Olympic tennis team.

Asked if he was disappointed with Raducanu’s decision, Bates said: ‘I'm extremely happy she's on court. Some of tennis her and Katie (Boulter) played last night was extremely high level.

‘She is 21 and hopefully she has many Olympics in her. From an Olympic team side or head of women side, I'm very comfortable with decision she's made.’

Meanwhile, the Olympics could be Murray’s final farewell to tennis, with the 37-year-old Scot having previously said he was not planning on playing beyond this summer.

Elsewhere, Boulter and Heather Watson have been nominated for the women's doubles, as have Harriet Dart and Maia Lumsden.
