Mpumalanga legislature | ANC secures speaker and premier position

MBOMBELA - Mpumalanga's seventh administration has been sworn in.
The legislature held its first sitting where 51 seats were allocated to six political parties.

The previous administration had 30 seats.
Following the National and Provincial elections, the ANC secured 21 seats, the official opposition MK Party, which joins the legislature for the first time, received nine seats, the EFF has seven seats, while the DA has six.
FF Plus and ActionSA have one seat each.
The ANC'S Mandla Ndlovu has been elected Premier unopposed and will be sworn in next Tuesday.
