Sarah Ferguson addresses 'remarrying' Prince Andrew as she shares their happiness
Sarah Ferguson has squashed rumours that she could be inclined to marry her ex-husband Prince Andrew again, revealing that their bond as friends is more than enough for the pair. The former couple, who became the Duke and Duchess of York following their 1986 nuptials, have remained close since parting ways in 1992, and divorcing four years later.
Their lives are intertwined not just by their two daughters, Princess Eugenie, 34, and Princess Beatrice, 35, but also due to their grandchildren; August, three, and Ernest, one, the sons of Eugenie, as well as Beatrice's daughter Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi, two. With ongoing rumours of the pair potentially rekindling, Sarah, 64, has now dispelled them in her own words.
She told Bella Magazine: "I get asked that all the time. We are very happy as we are now, thank you! " During the interview, Fergie also discussed the ups and downs of being married into the royal family, adding: "Of course, being in the public eye constantly brings challenges, but also great privileges.

"I hope I have used whatever platform I have to bring about some good, particularly in terms of my charity work." Sarah also revealed that she's grown a thicker skin over the years, having been a "people-pleaser" in her youth.
She said: "As I have got older, I have realised that you can't expect to please all of the people all of the time," reports the Express. "When I walk into a room now, I accept that 50 per cent may like me and 50 per cent may not, and that's just fine."
Despite her split from Andrew, Sarah still lives with him and maintains a close relationship with the Royal family.
Following the Queen's death in 2022, she and Andrew took on the responsibility of caring for her two Corgis, Sandy and Muiick. In an update about the pooches, she shared that they are "very happy" and have bonded well with Sarah's own Norfolk terriers.
She keeps the Queen's memory alive by continuing a biscuit-snapping tradition that the late monarch had with the dogs.
Meanwhile, back in April, Royal biographer Andrew Lownie spoke to the Daily Express US about why he thinks the former couple continue to live together, nearly three decades after their divorce.
He explained: "The reason they are still living together is partly because they are still really good friends, and partly because they want to be good parents.
"She of course gets all the benefits and status of being still connected to the Royal Family. She can live at Royal Lodge for free, and enjoy all the benefits of cooks and staff, which gives her a certain status that is very important to her in terms of earning a living."
