Burger King Just Made Its $5 Your Way Meal Available Nationwide
Some much needed relief is expected to hit our pockets this summer all thanks to Burger King. After testing their $5 Your Way Meal at select locations last year, the restaurant has announced that the budget-friendly meal will roll out nationally for summer.
The meal deal includes your choice of one of three sandwiches: Whopper Jr., Bacon Cheeseburger, or a Chicken Jr. With your five bucks, you'll also receive four chicken nuggets, fries, and a soft drink.
In a Reddit thread announcing the news of the deal, customers expressed their excitement in the comments.
"That's not a bad deal. I like their Whopper juniors," one user wrote.
"Not bad. This should be the standard though, not some limited deal," another person chimed in.
Still, there were those who weren't all that impressed with Burger King's attempt at swaying customers over with a bargain.
"Their small fry size is a joke compared to Wendy's. $5 meal deal at Wendy's still reigns supreme," read one comment.
The $5 Your Way Meal comes as a welcome surprise for fast food lovers who have found themselves lashing out at restaurants like Chick-fil-A and Chipotle over rising prices and dwindling portion sizes.
And Burger King isn't the only restaurant introducing a new value meal. Earlier this week, Starbucks announced its Pairings Menu. The menu includes your choice of two satisfying options that start at $5 0r $6. You can choose between a tall iced/hot coffee or tea paired with a butter croissant or a tall iced/hot coffee or tea paired with a breakfast sandwich.
