NATO chief Stoltenberg discusses Russian assault on Kharkiv

Russia failed to achieve any major breakthrough during its advance on the Kharkiv front. NATO is confident that Ukraine can prevail, according to the interview with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.
"This (meeting with foreign ministers, - ed) has given me greater confidence that NATO allies are ready to support Ukraine to defeat and stop the Russian aggressors. Wars by their nature are unpredictable. But what we have seen so far is that Russia has failed to make any major breakthrough," he said, responding to whether Kharkiv will withstand the Russian summer offensive.
According to him, Russian forces have achieved minor territorial gains but at a very high cost.
Russian advance on the Kharkiv front
On May 10, Russian forces launched a new offensive in the Kharkiv region, intending to break through the Ukrainian Armed Forces' defense in the border regions and capture Vovchansk, and later advance further to Kharkiv. However, the Ukrainian Armed Forces managed to thwart all enemy's plans.
The White House has already noted that Russia's new offensive in the Kharkiv region has been unsuccessful. Ukraine effectively stopped the enemy, inflicting significant losses.
It should be noted that according to the Deep State map, currently 86.16 square kilometers are occupied in the Kharkiv region, 0.45 square kilometers from Hlybokyi and Lukianivka, and 87.20 square kilometers from Vovchansk.
