Russian troops intensify their activity in Kharkiv region - General Staff

Russian troops have intensified combat operations in the area near the village of Lyptsi in the Kharkiv region. Fighting is ongoing, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to the General Staff, a total of 62 combat clashes were recorded on the front line in the past day. The most intense situation is reported in the Pokrovsk direction.

Situation on certain fronts

In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy has intensified near Lyptsi. Currently, there is a combat clash ongoing. Enemy forces have targeted populated areas of the region with artillery strikes.

In the Kupiansk direction, occupiers have increased the number of combat clashes to seven. Three attacks were successfully repelled by the Defense Forces units.

Fighting continues near Petropavlivka and Berestove, as well as Novoeheorivka with aviation support, where two artillery strikes were conducted.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy attempted to storm Ukrainian positions in the Terny area. The attempt was unsuccessful. The situation is under control.

In the Siversk direction, Defense Forces have repelled five attacks since the beginning of the day. Three clashes are ongoing in the areas of Bilohorivka, Vyimka, and Rozdolivka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy is attacking with air support. In the area of Druzhba, 26 unguided aviation missiles were launched.

There have been five combat clashes in this direction since the beginning of the day. One is ongoing near Andriivka.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian occupiers are currently conducting 11 assault actions. There have been a total of 22 since the beginning of the day. Our defenders successfully repelled half of the enemy attacks.

Currently, battles are taking place near Sokol, Nevelske, Netaylove, and Yevhenivka.

In the Kurakhove direction, the number of aggressor's assault actions has increased to four. Two attacks were repelled by our soldiers, and battles are ongoing near Novomykhailivka.

In the Vremivka direction, the enemy has attacked three times since the beginning of the day. They struck with a guided aviation bomb in the area of Staromaiorske. Our soldiers repelled all attempts by the enemy to advance.

In the Orihiv direction, in addition to three assaults by occupiers, another one occurred near Novodanylivka. The enemy was unsuccessful.

In the Pridniprovskyi direction, in the area of the bridgehead on the left bank of the Dnipro River, the Russian aggressor is attempting to continue active operations near Krynky. Since the beginning of the day, our soldiers have repelled four enemy assaults.
