Germany announces new €500 million military aid package for Ukraine

Germany will provide Ukraine with a new package of military assistance, including weapons totaling €500 million, according to the DPA and Tagesschau.

According to the DPA, Pistorius announced the new package during his visit to Odesa. More detailed information about the aid package from Germany to Ukraine is not available at the moment.

According to Tagesschau, Ukraine will receive within the framework of the package:

・Medium-range missiles for IRIS-T.

・Short-range missiles for IRIS-T.

・Reconnaissance and strike drones for operations in the Black Sea region.

・Equipment for repairing German artillery and Leopard tanks previously transferred to Ukraine.

French President Emmanuel Macron wants to establish a European coalition of military instructors in Ukraine.

Le Monde noted that nothing has been finally decided yet, but it could be a matter of weeks, if not days, before French and European instructors are sent to Ukraine.

However, the French government aims to create a coalition of willing countries to train Ukrainian military personnel. According to Le Monde sources, consultations on this matter are expected to accelerate in the coming days so that an announcement can be made during Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's visit to France on June 6th and 7th for the 80th anniversary of the Normandy landings.

People can apply for legal entry to the USA or other countries in these centers in Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, and Guatemala. According to the latest agreements, Greece and Italy will join Canada and Spain.

Ukraine will receive almost million shells by end of year as part of Czech initiative - Blinken

The Czech initiative will enable Ukraine to receive nearly one million artillery shells by the end of the year, states US Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

He reminded that Czechia has allocated $600 million for direct military aid to Ukraine and also plans to provide equipment worth $6 billion. By the end of the year, Czechia aims to train 9,000 Ukrainian defenders.

Additionally, as Blinken noted, Czechia is helping Ukraine repair outdated Soviet equipment, including tanks and howitzers.
