Chicago Bears Day 2 Rookie Minicamp Recap
Chicago Bears Day 2 Rookie Minicamp Recap
The Chicago Bears wrapped up their two-day rookie minicamp, and the good vibes from Halas Hall are real. Quarterback Caleb Williams has energized the franchise, and he’s not only doing it with his on field potential, but his personality shines every time he’s in front of a camera.
He’s saying all the right things publically and judging by how his coaches and teammate talk about him, it’s who he is away from the limelight too.
Here are a few Tweets and videos from Saturday’s practice and pressers.
Some are trying to disparage “The Claw” but it’s happening, so we may as well enjoy it.
On Monday night on our 2nd City Gridiron video channel, Jeff and I will be joined by Bears beat reporter Zach Pearson from Bear Report to fill us in on his first hand experience watching the rookies practice this weekend.
Booker’s skill set has been compared to Crosby, and Bears defensive line coach, Travis Smith, was in Las Vegas when the Raiders drafted Maxx in the fourth round of the 2019 draft.
The press conferences from offensive coordinator Shane Waldron, defensive coordinator Eric Washington, and special teams coordinator Richard Hightower can be seen here.
Yesterday first round picks Caleb Williams and Rome Odunze met the media, so today it was third rounder Kiran Amegadjie, fourth rounder Tory Taylor, and fifth rounder Austin Booker.
