Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff provides update on frontline situation

Russian troops have partial success near the village of Ivanivka, Kharkiv region. Ukrainian Defense Forces are stabilizing the situation, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Since the beginning of this day, 37 combat engagements have taken place at the front. The Russian invaders fired 494 times at the positions of Ukrainian defenders and dropped one bomb.

In the Kharkiv direction, Russians tried to storm Ukrainian positions three times. Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled the Russian attack in the direction of Lyptsi. Fighting continues in the areas of Hlyboke and Vovchansk. No positions were lost.

Over the past day, the total Russian losses in this area amounted to 137 troops (31 killed) and 23 units of military equipment.

Ten combat engagements took place in the Kupiansk direction since the beginning of the day. Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled one Russian attack in the direction of Druzheliubivka. Fighting continues in the areas of Petropavlivka, Ivanivka, Stelmakhivka, Nevske and Druzheliubivka.

"The enemy has partial success near Ivanivka. Defense forces are taking measures to stabilize the situation," the General Staff reports.

Yesterday, the Russian occupants lost 353 troops (117 of them killed) and 81 units of equipment in the Kupiansk direction. A dugout and five ammunition depots were also destroyed.

In the Lyman direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces are restraining Russian attempts to advance in the Serebrianskyi forest. In the Siversk direction, Ukrainian troops repelled the Russian attack in the vicinity of Spirne.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled the Russian attack near Klishchiivka since the beginning of the day. At the same time, the intensity of hostilities in the Pokrovsk direction decreased today, and Russia did not conduct any offensive actions.

In the Kurakhove direction, Ukrainian troops have already repelled three Russian attacks. In the Orikhiv direction, a Russian attack near Novodanylivka was stopped.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, at the bridgeheads on the left bank of the Dnipro River, a Russian attack was repelled near Krynky. At the same time, Ukrainian soldiers are taking measures to strengthen the defense lines.

Situation in Kharkiv region

The situation in the Kharkiv region has deteriorated significantly in recent weeks. The Russians launched an offensive in the north of the Kharkiv region (near the city of Vovchansk).

Russian troops have also become more active in the Kupiansk direction. The Ukrainian military notes that the Russian occupants are trying to reach the Oskil River.
