Our forces destroy occupants in Kharkiv region with tangible results - Zelenskyy

The Ukrainian defense forces are destroying the occupiers in the Kharkiv region and the results are tangible, according to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

The President clarified that Pokrovsk, Kramatorsk and Kurakhove directions remain extremely difficult. Most of the battles are taking place there.

“In Kharkiv region, our forces are destroying the occupier, the results are tangible,” the President said.

He also said that today he had received detailed reports on the situation at the front and in the provision of defense from Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov and Chief of the General Staff Anatolii Barhylevych. Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi, also reported to Zelenskyy on the situation at the front.

“We had a regular meeting of the Ramstein format the day before, and today there were reports on the work on our needs. First of all, these are air defense systems, armored vehicles, and ammunition. All partners are fully informed about the urgency of the needs and the real situation at the front,” the President summarized.

Russian offensive in Kharkiv region

The Russian forces are continuing their offensive in the north of the region, but they have not made any significant progress. Ukrainian troops managed to stop them.

Today, Nazar Voloshyn, the spokesman for the Khortytsia military unit, said that the situation in the Kharkiv region remains difficult. Defense forces managed to stabilize the situation, particularly in Vovchansk.
