The compelling medical-trauma reality show is in its 33rd series, which is testament to viewers’ appetite for willing strangers to pull through. In this visit, Carole, who is in her 70s, is rushed to A&E with a stroke; a 10-year-old has fallen off the monkey bars at school; and a part-time wrestler has injured his knee in the line of duty.
