Busselton fatal crash: One dead, several injured after bus and car collide in SW

One person has died and several others are injured after a horror crash near Busselton on Saturday night.

It is believed a bus and a car collided at the intersection of Bussell Highway and Tuart Drive in Yalyalup about 6.30pm, about 220km south of Perth.

The male driver of the car died at the scene and a female passenger sustained serious injuries. She was taken by St John Ambulance to Bunbury Regional Hospital.

Major crash will now take over the investigation and what caused the deadly crash to occur.
