Amazon selling iPhone 15 Pro Max £147 cheaper than Apple in huge pre-Prime Day deal
Amazon has dropped the price of Apple's flagship phone
Amazon's Prime Day sale is exactly two weeks from today and as the online retail giant preps to host its 2024 event, there are plenty of price drops. Discounts have started to flow in early, especially for Apple-loving tech shoppers.
In a limited-time deal, Amazon is selling the flagship iPhone 15 Pro Max for one of the cheapest prices around. Those who pick the Prime retailer over Apple's own site will pay £147 less.
It's all thanks to a pre-Prime Day discount, where the 256GB 14 Pro Max model has been discounted to £1,052. Yes, it's still a hefty amount to pay for a new phone but considering Apple's £1,199 price it's a welcomed saving for those who have the flagship model on their mind.
The titanium-designed model is set apart from other models in the iPhone 15 range thanks to a handful of high-end features. As the most expensive (and swankiest) model in the range users get exclusive features - like an extra camera lens and longer battery life. There is also room for more RAM storage, and this £1,052 model has 8GB, compared to the smaller 6GB on the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus.
If shoppers were interested in the standard iPhone 15 model, then we'd advise taking a look at Carphone Warehouse. Again, it is cheaper than Apple's own site (by £100) as the retailer knocks it down to £699. The cheaper deal also comes with thee free months of Apple music and Apple TV+.
Amazon's Prime Day sale officially starts on July 16, where it'll discount hundreds if not thousands of products across its site for 48 hours. Running up until 11:59pm on July 17, it's one of the biggest sale events of the year (outside of Black Friday) but only available to those who are signed up to its Prime membership.
This usually costs £8.99 per month but you can currently get a 30-day free trial. Of course, this means if you signed up for the free trial now you wouldn't have to pay a penny to get access to its Prime sale discounts at the end of the month, plus you can cancel it for free afterwards.
As with any major sale, the upcoming Amazon Prime Day may just sway rival online retailers to launch competitive discounts. As we speak tech fans can also find price drops over at John Lewis, Carphone Warehouse, or the Bose Summer Sale.
