SEOUL, July 1 (Yonhap) -- HYBE has published its "2023 Sustainability Management Report," detailing the company's achievements and future direction in sustainability-related activities.

According to the report released on the 1st, HYBE has established detailed sustainability management goals under the theme "For Sustainable Entertainment" in three dimensions: lifestyle, the future of the entertainment industry, and governance.

In the lifestyle dimension, the report includes efforts to expand live streaming of performances, use sustainable materials for albums, and implement measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

In the future of the entertainment business, the report highlights efforts at both the artist and label levels. BTS supported UNICEF’s "#OnMyMind Initiative" for the mental health of children and adolescents worldwide. SEVENTEEN collaborated with the Korean National Commission for UNESCO on the "Going Together" campaign to improve educational environments. Last month, SEVENTEEN was appointed as youth goodwill ambassadors by UNESCO headquarters, and they plan to expand the campaign internationally.

On the governance front, HYBE has enhanced its greenhouse gas management system by expanding the criteria for calculating emissions to include indirect emissions. The company also established CEO succession regulations and conducted a cash dividend of 29.2 billion KRW as part of its shareholder-friendly policies.

This year, HYBE is focusing on four key issues: producing eco-friendly products and services, ensuring information security and privacy protection, improving fan experiences, and upholding ethical management and compliance.

The HYBE Sustainability Management Committee stated, "2023 was a year dedicated to establishing a sustainability management system that could be internalized throughout the company. HYBE will continue to diligently and consistently practice HYBE-style sustainability management."
