Euro 2024: Eyes on the knockouts! Georgia reach miraculous qualification after 2-0 Portugal win

The first phase of EUR 2024 is over in Group F debuting Georgia advanced to the round of 16 after an incredible 2 nil victory over Portugal. Turkey qualified to as they beat 21 the Czech Republic who have been eliminated. Portugal finished the group first despite the defeat. In Group EA11, draw between Romania and Slovakia was enough for both to reach the final 16. Belgium qualified as the runner up despite failing to beat Ukraine. Incredibly, all four teams finished the group level with four points each. Ukraine, however, were eliminated as they placed last on goal difference. EUR 2024 will resume on Saturday with the first two games of the knockout stage Switzerland, Italy and Germany, Denmark.
