Rivers Angels receive N25m for President Federation Cup triumph
Rivers Angels were rewarded with a cash price of N25 million for winning the 2024 Women’s President Federation Cup.
The Port Harcourt based club were rewarded with the prize money after their victory over Naija Ratels in the final of the competition at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos on Saturday afternoon.
Rivers Angels won the keenly contested game 1-0 with Blessing Okpe scoring the winning goal from the penalty spot late in the first half.
It was the ninth time Whyte Ogbonda’s side will be winning the title.
They are the club with the highest number of titles in the history of the competition.
Runners-up Naija Ratels were rewarded with N10 million for their effort.
