N.S. shipyard begins work on new destroyers

To have the name announced today, the River Class destroyer, harkening back to our tremendous heritage of Fraser, St. Laurent, Mackenzie, saint-laurent, Fraser, were the first two ships to sail in the Battle of the Atlantic in the Second World War from Halifax Harbor to defend Canada. To bring those ships back to life is an amazing achievement.
