Kamala Harris goes on the attack amid Biden replacement calls

US Vice President Kamala Harris has admitted President Joe Biden's debate showing was "not his best performance" as she attacked Donald Trump during a rally in Las Vegas, Nevada on Friday.

There are growing calls for President Biden to be replaced as the Democrat frontrunner at the November election.

During her address, Harris doubled down on her support for Biden to remain the Democratic nominee.

"We believe in our President Joe Biden and we believe in what he stands for," Harris said.

The 59-year-old accused Trump of being "unburdened by the truth," citing his alleged false statements about events like the Charlottesville rally.

"Let's start with the thing we have always known. Donald Trump is unburdened by the truth. It's not a burden he carries."
